There has never been a more naturally gifted athlete in the National Football League than Barry Sanders, who in my opinion is the greatest player ever to play the game. The next generation of football fan needs to know about this remarkable athlete. This was an example of a player who played his entire career on a terrible team who would be handed the football and sent to run for his life. Nobody in the history of the game was more difficult to tackle. When he retired just 1.5 seasons shy of setting the all-time rushing record, I was devastated. He is the reason I became a football fan. Just watch the video and you'll understand what I'm talking about.
