If you
are going to be drafting any Yahoo leagues in the coming week, here are my own
personal draft rankings according to 12-team standard league settings (goals,
assists, shots, hits, power play). I always punt +/- on draft day, so that
category did not influence the order. Furthermore, average draft position on
Yahoo did strongly influence where players landed, since I hate drafting
players much sooner than required. These ranks also reflect my own personal draft strategy to wait on defense until rounds 7, 8, 9 (hence why Josi is ranked 75th). From that point on players are sorted into tiers by position.
This is how I pre-ranked my players for a Yahoo standard league. This may not jive with your own league settings, increasingly so based on how different your own league is from the standard format (which is by far the most common type on the most popular platform). You should probably also ignore these completely if you are drafting a keeper league, as these only care about 2021.
Another disclaimer: these ranks were not designed for optimal auto-drafting. I use it as a live drafting guide, where I'm filling up 5 forward spots before drafting any defense, and selecting a goalie in the 4th or 5th round. Your team could end up with holes if you use this as an auto-draft list.
