22 Sports Predictions For 2022

Every year for the past decade, I've posted my own list of sports predictions for the upcoming year. It's harder than you might think and became even harder in a pandemic world where sporting events are regularly cancelled or postponed. But those setbacks will not deter me from soldiering onward in my quest to predict the future. One of these years, I'm going to hit on a whole bunch of these and look like a genius. It just hasn't happened yet. Click here to see my 21 Predictions for 2021. As a bonus, one of my friends submitted his own list of 22 sports predictions, and we are going head-to-head in a contest to see who can get the most right. Although we did both forecast that the Coyotes would leave Arizona. We both predicted that the men's U20 tournament would be replayed, but differed on the women's U18.

Another thing that limits my success is that my annual Stanley Cup pick seems to have the ability to curse my forecasted champion. Terrible luck always seems to befall my pick (dating back to the Sidney Crosby concussion), so once again, for the 4th consecutive season, I'm picking the Toronto Maple Leafs to win the Stanley Cup. I just want all you Leaf fans out there to know that it's not "bad luck" or the "hockey gods" eliminating Toronto the past few seasons, it was all me. That's right, I did that. I have that kind of power over the Universe...
