Here are my 2021/22
Fantasy Draft player rankings, tailored specifically to Yahoo standard league
scoring (G, A, PPP, SOG, Hits) and Yahoo average draft position. Yes, +/- is
still a category in Yahoo standard leagues, but it does not factor into my
rankings. I’ll generally only look at +/- as a tie breaker while I’m drafting. If
your league settings are significantly different, then do not use this order.
This should probably only be used for drafts on Yahoo, as other sites likely
have significantly different ADPs.
It is very important to note that these are my “draft rankings” not the precise order of how good I think each player will be. I always try to avoid drafting anyone sooner than required and completed 10 mock drafts before determining these ranks to get a better sense of each player’s “draft range”. This list was copied and pasted directly from my own “Yahoo pre-draft rankings”, so this is what I’m using to draft my own teams in this format. Most managers on Yahoo will have their draft lists ordered by Yahoo X-Rank, so if you’re deciding between players, the one with the larger X-Rank has the higher probability of being available in the next round.
I spent quite a
lot of time doing my own personal scoring projections that may be more heavily
skewed to 2019/20 than other experts. The 2021 pandemic schedule was a unique
thing, and should be less correlated to the next season’s statistics than you would
usually expect. I would post my full projections, but copying and pasting Excel
worksheets into Google Blogger is a messy business, like Google hates Microsoft
